We love AirPlay . Audyssey ’s consistently put out some really solid compact speakers . But the former was frustratingly absent from the latter . Not any longer ! The LES dock sound as great as we ’d anticipate , with the ( overdue ) incentive of AirPlay wireless .
The thing even looks moderately damn undecomposed too , with a minimalist form , understated coloring , and a svelte enough soundbox to wedge onto a bookshelf or desk . Even though it ’s bantam , it ’s still get enough oomph to fill a room with sound that ’s decently fat given its source , even in the far less than acoustically ideal way in which I first heard it . I would n’t say this will replace anyone ’s family theater by any means , but it ’ll in all likelihood be great for any way you want your music in , drive two 1 - inch tweeter , two 3 - column inch mid woofers , and two 4 - column inch passive radiators , from any machine you ’re carrying . see to it for it next calendar month at $ 350 — a underworld of a lot less than theB&W Zeppelin .
