I’m Blue

Ubisoft Forward 2023 is underway, and the show kicked off with a new cinematic trailer forAvatar: Frontiers of Pandora, which sees the Na’vi once again under threat from the machinations of capitalism and man. Pre-orders are now live on PC and console, ahead of a December 7 release date.

No less than director James Cameron himself popped his head through the door to explain the process behind transferring his cinematic universe to the gaming realm. Cameron spoke of the team’s aims to “Push boundaries” of creating living open worlds, powered by an original story that will take place alongside that of the two blockbuster movies. This message was then followed by a gameplay video, spotlighting the activities of the Pandora universe and the Na’vi civilization.
