Battlegrounds: Lobby Legends debut in Hearthstone Esports with the Raid Leaders event
Embracing Battlegrounds' popularity among players and viewers, theHearthstone Esportsteam launched a competitive circuit for players to thrive. Thefirst event of this $500,000 bet starts today with 48 players from three regions competing for the 12 spots in the final Raid Leaders event.
The best 16 players of the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific region, got invites to this first stage of the competition. To compete in the main event on the 2nd-3rd of April, they will need first to make one more effort, survive this qualifier.

Competition Format
According to Battlegrounds: Lobby Legends, the Raid Leaders qualifier will consist of 6 different groups of 8 players, with the top 4 advancing to the second stage. Then the 24 remaining competitors will once again compete in 8-players lobbies, in which the top 4 of each group will advance to Battlegrounds:Lobby Legends Raid Leaders the main event.
Every group will play three Battlegrounds matches, both in the first and second stage of the Raid Leaders qualifier. Players will earn points according to their finishing position, and after the three group matches have finished, the ones with the most points will advance.
Only 12 out of the 48 original players will advance to the main event with $50,000 in prizes. There, they will be joined by 4 representatives from China. This final stage will have YoutTube and Twitch broadcasts. Yes, Hearthstone Esports will be back on Twitch with Battlegrounds: Lobby Lengends’ first event, Raid Leaders.
