Deadlock

Guides

If you want to snipe with Spirit in Deadlock, you need to try this Grey Talon build.

Grey Talon is one of Deadlock’s trickiest characters to get a lot of value out of unless you have a solid build in place. If you are looking for a build that scales with Spirit and maximizes both Charged Shot and Guided Owl, you have come to the right place.

This Grey Talon build is all about getting a lot of quick DPS onto your opponents with Charged Shot, then getting a finishing blow with Guided Owl when you unlock it. If you can get multiple of these Owl kills, your Spirit can scale incredibly into the late game.

Early game

Stay back in the laning phase and poke with your Charged Shot when possible.

Begin scaling Spirit and look for Guided Owl plays.

Deadlock

Late game

Your Spirit scaling starts to take off and you’re able to begin dealing massive damage.

Uber late game

you’re able to start focusing on survivability here as well, but otherwise continue funneling into Spirit damage.

Grey Talon abilities and upgrades

The Spirit Sniper Grey Talon build is focused more on damage than utility or surviving, so we prioritize Charged Shot and Guided Owl. As such, you will need to be aware that you are a bit squishy and your main escape is Rain of Arrows.
