Two-time CS:GO Major champion Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt has announced his switch from Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to VALORANT.
Since its inception, the VALORANT esports world has drawn in players from different games. We have seen almost every type of first-person and third-person shooter transition into VALORANT. This includes Fortnite, PUBG, Paladins, Overwatch, and of course, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. The latest addition to the latter’s list is two-timeCS:GOMajor champion Nathan “NBK-” Schmitt.

The 27-year old Frenchman OG team member announced his official switch from CS:GO to competitive VALORANT on the 29th of June. However, we still don’t know where willNBK- end up exactly. WithVCT Stage 3already going on around the world in different regions, it is doubtful we will see NBK- join a team within this tournament.
Another point to take note of is almost all tier 1 organizations have finalized and locked in their rosters, with very few of them still considering any major changes. NBK- would still be an extremely valuable addition to any organization’s VALORANT team considering his accomplishments.
