Season 2 of Premier is here at last.
The unending opening season of CS2 Premier has come to a close, with Valve today shipping the Season 2 patch notes for the FPS' main competitive mode. Plenty of changes have been made to the mode including a core map update and several weapon adjustments.

CS2 Season 2 Premier launches: Vertigo out, M4A4 price drop, FAMAS buff, and more
CS2 players have been patiently awaiting the launch of Premier Season 2 after the main game mode wastaken offline yesterday. For those chasing their Premier rating, it has been recalibrated: you’ll need to win 10 matches before you get your new rating.
If you’re wanting the newSeason 2 medalyou’ll need to play 25 matches before the season ends after the BLAST Austin Major in June.

Vertigo is officially gone with the reworked Train now available in the Premier map pool. Train wasadded to the pro map pooland debuted atlast week’s BLAST Bounty, but the rest of the player base has had to wait until today’s seasonal changeover before the map was added.
Weapon-wise, the M4A4 variant is a little cheaper, now matching the price of an M4A1-S. The FAMAS is also slightly cheaper and has received significant buffs as it could not compete with the budget T rifle, the Galil. A few other weapons have copped a nerf, with the MP9, MP7, and MP5 having their crouching accuracy reduced.

Valve has also shipped a few quality-of-life changes with a dynamic radar zoom for the minimap. Some bugs have also been squashed.
