Thenew Dota 2 hero, Ringmaster, is finally out! The notorious trickster is now playable in your pubs, but before getting into the fun let’s get to know his abilities and talents. Dota 2’s Ringmaster overview
Ringmaster is an Intelligence hero, designated to play as a Support. His ability is packed with escape and disable functions that make him a great supporting presence. He has a solid nuke in his ultimate that also deals massive AoE damage. He can also be built into a late-game damage-dealing hero.
*On release, Ringmaster does not have a Facet or an Aghanim’s Scepter buff.
Ringmaster Abilities
Tame the Beasts
Ringmaster channels his whip and unleashes it to a selected area. Enemies hit by the channeled whip will receive damage and flee back for up to 1.2 seconds. The longer he channels the whip, the smaller the whip radius but the higher the damage and the longer the fear duration.
Escape Act
Ringmaster can pack himself or an ally into a box. This mutes, silences, and disarms the unit but also makes them untargetable. Packed units in the box can move and will gain significant movement buff including phased movement, slow resistance, and additional movement speed. Once in the box, units will also get bonus magic resistance.
The box will open after a maximum of 3.2 seconds or after it has moved 500 units away. Ringmaster’s Escape Act is similar to Outworld Destroyer’s Astral and will be a powerful tool to escape deadly situations.

Impalement Arts
Ringmaster’s third ability allows him to throw one of his daggers to a precise point. Upon hitting an enemy, it deals impact damage, slows the enemy, and deals damage per second. This latter damage increases with every percentage of the enemy’s maximum health. The Impalement Arts ability has four charges with quick cooldowns in between.
Wheel of Wonder
Ringmaster’s ultimate ability is the Wheel of Wonder. He releases a large wheel to an area, damaging enemies in its path. The wheel will stop at the targeted location and enemies nearby will receive damage per second. Those who face the wheel for 0.5 seconds will be taunted and pulled towards the wheel. After the timer ends, the wheel explodes, dealing massive damage.
Innate Ability: Dark Carnival Barker
Ringmaster brings a unique Innate Ability. With every hero that dies near Ringmaster, he earns a random single-use Dark Carnival Souvenir that acts as a mini-ability in his kit. If he doesn’t have a Souvenir during respawn, he will be granted one.

Aghanim’s Shard: Spotlight
The Aghanim’s Shard grants Ringmaster an extra ability called Spotlight. This ability shines a spotlight that sweeps over a selected area that will reveal invisible units and damage illusions.
