How are the inductees selected?

The selection of 2024 inductees began with the inspection team reviewing the performance records of players who competed in domestic and international competitions from August 20, 2025, to June 27, 2025.

Based on this review, the induction ceremony selection committee—comprising representatives from various fields such as media, broadcasters, sports companies, and team secretariats—nominated candidates for the “Heroes” and “Stars” categories. Final inductees were determined through a combination of committee votes and public voting, with the “Stars” category finalized through online fan votes.
