FlyQuest’s new direction is likely to begin with a new in-game leader.
Australian squad FlyQuest have made a second roster change for the season, dropping in-game leader Christopher “dexter” Nong to the bench as the team moves “in a new direction” today.

Dexter was a founding member of the revamped FlyQuest roster, which went international late last year after AWPer Alistair “aliStair” Johnston was dropped for Romanian Iulian “regali” Harjău.
FlyQuest announced dexter’s benching on March 13 viaX/Twitter. The 30-year-old remains benched, with a replacement not yet named by the org.

“After evaluating our start to the 2025 season, we’ve decided to move dexter to the bench as we take the team in a new direction,” the statement read. Dexter postedhis own statementshortly after, thanking his teammates and the org for the opportunity, but also citing “outside factors” that affected the team as the season kicked off.
“There was simply too many outside factors in the team to making the start of the year how we wanted as a team,” dexter said. “[I’m] going to be looking after myself physically more for the first time being until I find a new home, but the last few weeks of losses has made my mental stronger than it has ever been, and I’m always appreciative of that.”
