Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2: Lawless arrives in just a few hours. Although the game is currently offline for pre-season maintenance, Epic Games has provided a complete list of all new features in the season. The Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 patch notes include new vehicles, weapons, items, unique gameplay elements, skins, and more.

All new weapons and items in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2
The Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 patch notes feature a staggering number of newitems and weapons. Some standouts include the Pump & Dump, a dual-wielded Shotgun and SMG, Sub-Zero’s Kombat Kit from the Mortal Kombat series, and Thermite, which will help open vaults.
There’s also a new Med-Mist Grenade, a new spin on the Med-Mist healing item introduced in Fortnite Chapter 3. Other weapons include a new Sniper, The Kneecapper bat, and more.

New medallions
Who is Fletcher Kane?
Fletcher Kane is the primary antagonist of this season. He will show up mid-heist to protect those valuable goods. However, those who defeat him will receive the Unstoppable Medallion and Fletcher Kane’s Mythic Double Down Pistol.
Explaining the new Gold Rush mechanic
Gold Rush is a new mechanic outlined in the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 patch notes. Dipping into gold-infused water will grant players movement speed, Pickaxe swing speed, and Pickaxe damage to structures. You can also mine “Gold Veins” to gain the Gold Rush effect.
Get “Lawless” with four new points of interest (POIs)
Crime City is the standout POI in the Chapter 6 Season 2 update. This is the one that appeared in most of the promotional material, including the gameplay trailer. However, three other locations have spawned on thewestern side of the map, replacing a few from Season 1.

Fortnite introduced Boons in Chapter 6 Season 1. These items offered various benefits, including reloading your weapon faster and moving faster with your Pickaxe equipped. Season 2 has welcomed four new Boons to the fold. We have outlined those below:

Black Markets are your key to insane loot in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2
Black Markets are where you will spend Gold Bars and Dill Bills currency in a given match. These marketplaces possess Mythic and Legendary items. You can also purchase a wide array of Boons from them.
New Armored Transports and Trains mechanic
Armored Transports and Trains are a focal point of the Lawless season. The Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 patch notes explain that Fletcher Kane, this season’s boss character, has convoys transporting valuable items around the island. Those who engage with these convoys can take out the henchmen and take control of the armored vehicles.
The Armored Train is more complex but works similarly. You can board the train and breach the “vault car” using Thermite to collect the loot inside. There are turrets atop the train, so you may need to take those out before entering,

Who is in the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 Battle Pass?
Epic Games publicized the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 Battle Pass a few days ago, so there isn’t much new information here. However, apart from Mortal Kombat’s Sub-Zero, we do have a complete list of characters with their respective names.
Begin and end your matches with a music “Moment”
Another new addition in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 is the ability to start and end a match with a Jam Track or Lobby Track. You can designate one for when you drop from the Battle Bus and another for your Victory Royale. However, it will only work for you unless your duo plays on a split screen.
