This article outlines everything you need to know about the Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 loot pool, including the new weapons and more!
Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3 is just a few hours from launch. Dubbed “Super,” the rumors are true. This season will revolve around superheroes. Considering this theme, the natural question is what kind of weapons and items the loot pool will offer.

This article outlines every new item in the new season, from weapons to sprites and everything in between. Here is your complete primer for the Chapter 6 Season 3 loot pool.
Hero Items are the newest addition to Fortnite’s loot pool
Although we won’t know which weapons, if any, have withstood the latest update, Epic Games has provided a comprehensive list of new weapons and items. Among the first batch we’ll cover here, referred to as “Hero Items,” the Bass Boost stands out in particular.
This item can destroy structures while damaging opponents and bouncing them backward. The Bass Boost can also launch you into the air using its secondary fire. It sounds versatile and fun, but also somewhat challenging to counter.

The other two items worth addressing in the first batch include the Killswitch Revolvers, which grant a dodge mechanic and activate “Hangtime” mid-air to improve accuracy. There’s also a Tracking Visor, which serves as your ability to trace enemies.
Hero Items
Some other Hero Items will enter the loot pool later this season, including the Surf Cube, Storm Beast’s Pom Poms, and Myst Form:

All new weapons and items in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3
With the Hero Items cover, let’s dig into what the general loot pool will offer. These include a Grapnel Gun, a dog treat, and a spread of new “Unstable” Exotic weapons. Firstly, let’s address Robin’s Grapnel Gun, of course, based on Batman’s sidekick’s presence in the season.
The blog post explicitly states that it functions similarly to the standard Grappler, but with significantly greater range. There’s also the Krypto Treat, which exists as part of this season’s Superman collaboration. This item allows you to toss one on the ground for Krypto to crash land and damage enemies nearby.

Below, we have provided a list of all the new weapons, including some brief descriptions, so you know what to expect:

It’s worth noting that the Unstable Exotics weapons listed above are obtainable only from Rank S Hero Caches and Academy Tech Labs. This requires you to progress through the Hero Rank system.
New Mythics weapons and Medallions included in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3
In addition to the many weapons and items outlined above in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 3, Mythics and Medallions are back. The Mythics are enhanced versions of the Spire Rifle and Deadeye DMR, as covered above.
On the other hand, the Medallions offer more unique benefits to those who hold them. First is the Infernal Defenses Medallion, which increases reload speed and regenerates shield every second with a cap of 50.

The Shrouded Striker Medallion extends the speed, distance, and height of your sprint jump and grants invisibility during a sprint jump.
All new Boons and Sprites explained
Boons and Sprites, which were introduced to begin Chapter 6 Season 1, are back with completely new options. These alone will reshape the way players approach the game, especially with the introduction of the Superman Sprite. The Boons specifically grant more benefits to those of a higher Hero Rank.
We have outlined each new Boon and Sprite with a brief description to give you a good idea of what each entails:
