Fortnite posted a teaser featuring Spartans from the Halo series ahead of the Chapter 6 Season 4 launch on Aug. 8!

A recent Fortnite teaser has confirmed that the upcoming release of Chapter 6 Season 4 will include a collaboration with the Halo franchise. Although a few leakers indicated this crossover would happen, Epic Games surprisingly released official art ahead of the Season 4 launch.

The image itself doesn’t reveal much, but those familiar with the Halo franchise should immediately recognize that these are Spartans. One appears in red armor while the other sports blue armor, which may or may not be a subtle reference to the popularRed vs. Blue web series.

Accompanying the picture is a caption reading “Yeah, we called the experts in for this one.” This is likely a reference toChapter 6 Season 4’sbug invasion theme.Master Chiefand other Spartans often find themselves encountering the Flood, which are parasitic enemies in various Halo games.

Will the Spartan be a Battle Pass skin?

Several leakers have circulated a report fromitsmeleaky, who previously reported the Halo Spartans would appear in the Season 4 Battle Pass. While unconfirmed at this moment, the same source has said thePower Rangers, specifically Tommy Oliver and a Megazord, would also appear in the Battle Pass.

Ultimately, we’ll have to wait and see, but Fortnite’s post all but confirms the Halo Spartans will be a Battle Pass skin next season. An important question to ask is whether this could have implications for the Season 4 map.

Nothing would be more fitting than for Epic Games to feature a map from the Halo series as one of the game’s many points of interest (POIs). That’s another discussion we will have to file under “wait and see” for the time being.
