Here’s when and how you can get the Fortnite Thunderbolts skins!
Ahead of the upcoming release of Marvel’s Thunderbolts film, Epic Games has announced a Fortnite collaboration set to go live soon. This crossover will welcome Yelena Belova, also known as White Widow, and Bucky Barnes, also known as The Winter Soldier, into the game.
While these won’t be skins based on Florence Pugh and Sebastian Stan, who portray the characters, they are ‘Pen & Ink,’ making them more comic-inspired. This article outlines everything you need to know about the Fortnite Thunderbolts collab, including how the skins look and when you may get them.
Fortnite Thunderbolts collab: Release date and first look
The Fortnite x Thunderbolts partnershipwill enter the Item Shopbeginning on Wednesday, April 30, at 8 p.m. ET. Once the Shop resets, you can purchase the White Widow and/or Winter Soldier separately or presumably as part of a bundle collection.
Both skins are ‘Pen & Ink’ style, meaning they align more with the comic book style of theseMarvel characters. White Widow and Winter Soldier each have an Emote, Pickaxe, Back Bling, and Wrap.

While we don’t know the pricing yet, those details should surface over the coming days. you may also earn some of these cosmetics for free by competing in the upcoming Fortnite Thunderbolts Cup.

On April 25, five days before the collab launches, Fortnite will host a Thunderbolts competition. Those who participate in this Duos Battle Royale tournament and place atop their respective regions will receive the White Widow Bundle for free.
Additionally, those who earn eight points will receive the Winter Soldier Wrap, while those who earn 40 points will get the White Widow Wrap. Since this tournament is free to enter, it’s worth at least trying to see if you can win free Fortnite items!
