Overwatch 2 game producer Lauren Soanes shared details about the DokiWatch universe.
Overwatch 2 Season 16 arrives on April 22 alongside a brand-new Battle Pass plus the game’s next mythic skin. Here’s everything to know about Heart of Hope Juno as the next mythic cosmetic in Overwatch 2.
What is the next mythic skin in Overwatch 2?
The next mythic hero skin in Overwatch 2 is Heart of Hope Juno. This skin is part of the game’s DokiWatch universe. DokiWatch is Overwatch 2’s own spin on the magical girl genre, and according to game producer Lauren Soanes, the DokiWatch universe puts the Heroes of Hearts against the Hollow Hearts faction.
“DokiWatch retains core elements of the magical girl aesthetic and blends them with the sleek technology of Overwatch,” Soanes said during a live stream. “Our hero’s magitech weapons are empowered by their animal familiars to fight against the Hollow Hearts and their looming threat of woe.”
These animal familiars include tiny sharks, a fox, a cat, and bunnies, which can be seen in the concept art andDokiWatch skin previews.
“They’re cute, they’re fierce, and they’ll make your heart doki doki,” Soanes added, referring to a Japanese phrase that describes a fast-beating heart.

How to unlock the Juno mythic skin in Overwatch 2
If Overwatch 2 Season 16 is like the game’s previous seasons in terms of unlocking mythic hero skins and their customizations, then Heart of Hope Juno should cost 80Mythic Prisms. Typically, the base version of a mythic hero skin costs 50 Mythic Prisms while all of the additional customizations require a total of 30 more.
To obtain Mythic Prisms in Overwatch 2, players must progress through the paid Battle Pass. Each season’s Battle Pass includes 80 Mythic Prisms that can be earned in total. At the minimum, the Battle Pass costs 1,000 Overwatch Coins each season, which is equivalent to $9.99 USD.
Another option is to purchase Mythic Prisms from the in-game shop. However, it is more expensive compared to the Battle Pass method.

According to Blizzard Entertainment, the next hero after Juno to receive a mythic hero skin is D.Va. Siberian Tiger D.Va is slated to arrive in Overwatch 2 Season 17. In terms of the next mythic weapon, that’s going to Mercy in Overwatch 2 Season 16’s mid-season update.
