On both the PS3 and 360 versions
Good news,Soul Caliburfans! It seems as if two parts of the deadly trio that is Heihachi (PS2), Spawn (Xbox) and Link (GameCube) will be headed toSoul Calibur II HD. Specifically, Spawn and Heihachi will be making it toboththe PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game. There’s no word on Link at all right now, which we can only presume is a confirmation that things didn’t work out.
Namco didn’t tell us much more than that, instead just noting that this is the first time both characters would be playable in one version, and thatSoul Calibur II HDis still scheduled to arrive in the fall of 2013. ConsideringSoul Calibur IIis my favorite of theSoulgames, I’m excited to see how the new netcode fares.
