Not too long ago , tangible - life Tony Stark Elon Muskwas talking on Twitterabout wanting to plan rocket parts using something awfully like the 3D hologram interface we ’ve seen in Iron Man . Wellhere it is — stark with Leap Motion . It ’s not quite there , but it ’s still freakin ’ awesome .

When the Leap Motion first came out , we were wowed by how well it mold , but a little let down by the fact that , well , there ’s not much to do with it . There still might not be much to do with it for you and me , but pass on it to Spaceman McFuture to put it through its paces and tease out a little bit of that unique potential drop . Of of course , heisn’t quite the first to come up with these idea . But he get Eruca sativa .

We ’re not quite at free - floating manipulatable hologram territory yet , but that ’s just a triviality at this point . The future tense is bump ; it ’s here with those hologram - designed , three-D - printed rocket component part you dictate .
Update : God damn , these sure are some word !
