Leading up toWednesdayseason 2’s two-part release, not many details were released regarding Lady Gaga’s new character. The show also kept the character out of trailers and promo materials. For those hoping for her introduction in part 1, you’ll have to wait a little longer. However, Wednesday teases how Lady Gaga could appear.

Morticia Is Staying At A Nevermore Cottage Named After Lady Gaga’s Wednesday Character

Wednesday and Pugsley aren’t the onlymembers of the Addams Familystaying at Nevermore Academy in season 2. Principal Dort ropes in Morticia to become the chair of the Gala Fundraising Committee, requiring her to stay in the area. Dort specifically sets her up on campus in the home Marilyn Thornhill previously used before her arrest, which is called Rotwood Cottage.

The building is described as a “gardener’s cottage reserved for faculty,” though the Rotwood name directly connects toLady Gaga’sWednesdaycharacter. She will be playing a character named Rosaline Rotwood, who Netflix described as “a legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday.” She presumably lived in the cottage while working as a teacher, but has since left Nevermore.

It’s unclear what Rosaline taught at Nevermore or what happened to her, but she will seemingly encounter the school’s most popular student soon. ConsideringWednesdayseason 2’s character deaths already include a handful of newcomers, let’s hope that Rosaline doesn’t join that list in part 2.

When Lady Gaga Could Appear In Wednesday Season 2, Part 2

After agreeing to be on the gala committee, Morticia takes over Rotwood Cottage and quickly makes it her own with some redecorating. That said, the Nevermore’s upcoming gala could be the key to Lady Gaga’s debut inWednesdayseason 2. Seeing as Dort is counting on alumni for the big event, Rosaline could make an appearance due to her history with Nevermore.

Interestingly, Lady Gaga’s debut inWednesdayseason 2, part 2, will also coincide with a new song from the artist. Expected to release in September when the part 2 episodes arrive, Gaga plans to release “Dead Dance,” a song that will be added toWednesdayseason 2’s soundtrack. If that’s not exciting enough, Tim Burton directed the music video for “Dead Dance.”
