When you first enter the world of Zenless Zone Zero and go through the tutorial, you’ll get to choose between two difficulty settings. However, what if you would like to change the difficulty later in the game to either increase the challenge or have a more relaxed experience? Don’t worry. How to change the ZZZ difficulty

To change the difficulty in Zenless Zone Zero, launch the game and tap on the “Options” icon.

Next, under tap on the “Other” option located to the left side of the screen.

After doing this, go to the “Main Story Difficulty” drop-down menu and choose your preferred difficulty.

Finally, press the “Switch” button to confirm the change.

You can switch the difficulty back and forth by following the above steps as well.

Zenless Zone Zero difficulties explained

The available difficulties are Casual Mode and Challenge Mode. While Casual Mode is designed for players who wish to focus on the story and have a more relaxed experience, Challenge Mode offers a tougher experience throughout the main Zenless Zone Zero story.
