Naafiri’s midscope update doesn’t have a Rift ETA yet.
After confirmation underutilized LoL champ Naafiri was getting a midscope update this week, we now have a look at the changes — and there’s plenty new with the Hound of a Hundred Bites.
As mentioned in yesterday’s preview by Riot Games dev August, Naafiri’s effectiveness as a solo laner and jungler was to be looked at. The big solution? Swap her W, Hound’s Pursuit, with her ultimate, The Call of the Pack.

“Both abilities have been retuned for their new slots,” August confirmed on X/Twitter on March 4. “Casting W is better in combat and now makes Naafiri untargetable,” he went on, adding the ability swap, plus the increased packhound count and damage, will make Naafiri viable in the jungle.

Damage will be hit across the board for Naafiri to account for the additional dogs, of which she will have five (seven with a fully-leveled W). The slight cooldown reduction on her E, Eviscerate, is intended to boost her mobility.
The Naafiri midscope will arrive with Patch 25.6 which is now live! Here’s a full breakdown of the Naafiri changes in LoL.
