Dota 2 drops The New Frontiers Update 7.33, a HUGE patch transforming the game

We’ve waited, we’ve agonized, we’ve wondered, and now we’re getting the largest Dota 2 patch in recent memory, as 7.33 releases!

Muerta’s Aghanim’s Scepter

Aghanim’s Scepter grants Muerta a new ability called Parting Shot. When you use Parting Shot against an enemy hero, it will separate their soul from their body for four seconds. The enemy can control the soul and not the body.

The body will be stunned throughout the duration and it has a 50% damage reduction. Meanwhile, the soul is able to move and cast spells. However, it is muted and disarmed.

The spell definitely has pros and cons and should be used with caution. Due to its strong disarming ability, this will be highly effective against right-click heroes and not so against magical heroes.

After the duration ends, the soul returns to the body and all negative debuffs are removed. If the body dies during the duration, the soul will still be alive until the four seconds end. Parting Shot lands an initial 300 damage.

Muerta’s Aghanim’s Shard

The Aghanim’s Shard upgrade for Muerta is pretty simple. It upgrades the ultimate, Pierce the Veil, to give Muerta a 30% Spell Lifesteal throughout the entire ultimate duration. But the best part is it allows Muerta to gain 2% Spell Amplification every time-

More changes to Muerta

Aside from the additions of Aghanim’s Scepter and Shard upgrade, there were also tweaks to Muerta’s abilities.

In light of the new overall nerf to stuns and disables, Muerta’s Ricochet ‘fear’ duration has been decreased. Her second ability, The Calling, is also nerfed as the spell duration and the silence duration are decreased. And finally, her Level 10 Talent Dead Shot damage has been decreased from 100+ to 80+.

Muerta’s new Aghanim’s Scepter gives the Parting Shot ability.

That’s all for Muerta’s changes in the latest Dota 2 update! Check out more changes toDota 2including a larger map, major gameplay changes, and more onEsports.gg.
