The OWCS 2025 Champions Clash event in China will be one of three live tournaments.
Overwatch 2 just announced an update for the 2025 Overwatch Champions Series (OWCS). China joined the circuit as one of the four official regions alongside North America (NA), Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and Asia.
Overwatch 2 esports returns to China
China’s addition to OWCS 2025 will also bring a live Overwatch 2 esports event to the region. This will be the Overwatch 2 Champions Clash slated for April 2025 at the Hangzhou Esports Center.

Additionally, Champions Clash in China will be one of three live and international events. The other ones will be the Midseason Championship happening in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and the OWCS 2025 World Finals taking place in Stockholm, Sweden.

More details about these live OWCS 2025 events will be shared later, according to Overwatch Esportson X. However, we do know that the OWCS 2025 Champions Clash will feature eight teams from around the globe — with two teams qualifying from each OWCS region.
