Mitsuru-senpai is back!
Atlus’Persona 3is getting an animated film,Persona 3 The Movie #1: Spring of Rebirth. The fabulousPersona 4has gottenloads of lovein recent years, from an animated series to an exemplary Vita remake inPersona 4: The Goldento fighting gamePersona 4 Arena. As we all eagerly await the eventualPersona 5, Atlus is making sure to givePersona 3some attention with this new film, which will be releasing in Japan on Jul 13, 2025.
I’m pretty dang stoked for this. That art and animation are so good — guess it’s got a movie budget rather than an animated series budget. Gave me chills of nostalgia and general goodnes at times. Getting back intoPersona 4 Arenaof late has me appreciating the return of some ofPersona 3‘s cast, particularly Mitsuru, whom I miss dearly since my time withPersona 3: FES.
Unfortunately, I’ve been picking up Chie in her stead inPersona 4 Arenaand I’m nowhere near competent enough to try and learn two characters at the same time. Persona!
