While Genesis take the trophy, Alter Ego have booked a slot at the PMGC 2022.
Genesis Dogma GIDS are the new PUBG Mobile Pro League champions of Indonesia. In a field of underdogs, Genesis put up a spectacular show in the country finals to win the PMPL Indonesia Fall 2022.

The PMPL Indonesia Country Finals took place from August 26th to 28th at the Basketball Senayan in Jakarta, Indonesia. The top 16 teams from the Country League competed for the title of champions and spots in the SEA Championship.
Alter Ego get close but Genesis Dogma get the final laugh
Genesis Dogma were among the underdogs coming into the Country Finals. They placed 11th last season and were fifth in the league stage.
But the finals was one of the most intense ones seen in PUBG Mobile history. Ahead of the final game, there were four teams in contention for first place. These were Genesis Dogma, Alter Ego, Boom, and NFT. All four teams were sitting just 14 points apart with Alter Ego at the top with 235 points, Boom Esports with 230 points, NFT with 225 points and Genesis Dogma with 221 points.

Adding to the incredibly nature of Genesis’ victory, they were only 14 points behind Alter Ego. By PUBG Mobile standards, 14 points aren’t a lot for a single game and even a decent game by Alter Ego could have ensured them a victory. This didn’t happen, though. To the delight of Genesis, Alter Ego and NFT were knocked out in 16th and 15th places respectively. Boom Esports survived a bit longer but could only manage ninth place.
With its three chief rivals out of the game, Genesis capitalized on the opportunity and went on to place fourth in the game with seven kills. This pushed them to 236 points, just one ahead of Alter Ego at 235, and earned them the crown of the PMPL Indonesia Fall Season.

Despite the disappointment, Alter Ego confirm a spot at the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2022
While Alter Ego had the most disappointing final game to lose the title by just a single point, they still have something to be happy about. The team has confirmed its spot in the PMGC 2022, which will begin in November.

The criteria for qualification is that the team with the highest points across both PMPL seasons this year will go to the PMGC.
Alter Ego managed to accumulate 1423 points to confirm their place, according toLiquipedia. Fan favorites Bigetron RA, on the other hand, got close but couldn’t make it as they fell 87 points short.

Bigetron will still have a chance of qualifying for the PMGC through the PMPL SEA Championship.
PMPL Indonesia Fall 2022: Overall Standings
The top four teams of the PMPL Indonesia qualify for the SEA Championship
The action doesn’t end here, though, as the top four teams have qualified for the PMPL SEA Championship while the teams in fifth to seventh will compete in the SEA Play-Ins.
The PMPL SEA Play-In will take place on September 3rd and 4th. Sixteen teams from across SEA will be competing for the remaining three spots in the Championship.

The PMPL SEA Championship will offer slots to the PMGC 2022. It’s unclear how many these would be right now, though.
