Twitch Rivals Minecraft event Squid Craft 2 is coming soon and here are the list of all 200 participating Twitch streamers.
One of the biggest events in Twitch history, Squid Craft is making a comeback. We will be seeing the epic Twitch Rivals start soon on the last day of February. The Spanish Minecraft competition will spread its wings to include more participants with new and exciting games.
In the announcement made during The ESLANDAwards, the second edition of the popular Minecraft event will be live on February 28. It will include 200 participants, compared to 150 participants last year. The participants will mostly be from the Spanish streamer community with the addition of new non-Spanish streamers from all around the world.
What is Squid Craft 2?
Squid Craft is a Minecraft event created by popular Spanish streamers Auronplay, Komanche, Rubius, and Alecuatro in early 2022. The event is inspired by the hit Netflix show, Squid Game where 456 participants have to survive through deadly games and win a massive amount of money.
Similarly, in Squid Craft, participants have to survive through a set of elimination games on a customized Minecraft map. The winner will get a total prize pool of $100,000 USD. The challenges are surely going to be hard and it is designed to eliminate almost every player in the game.
There will be twelve games in total, the same as last year. The games haven’t been announced yet but we will surely see the old favorites and a lot of new games.
The first edition of Squid Craft is a huge hit
Squid Craft was a part of Twitch Rival that was organized on January 2022 last year. It is Twitch Rivals' most popular entertainment event yet. With 17.5 million Hours Watched and over 2.2 million Peak Viewers, the event was a huge success. Many streamers broke their personal streaming record during the duration of the event.
The event ended with an epic fight between Elxokas and OllieGamerz in the same fashion as the original Squid Game where they have to eliminate each other. OllieGamerz then emerged as the winner and take home $100,000 USD.

Who is joining Squid Craft 2?
Listed down below is the list of participants for the event. In a recent update, Auronplay is not going to be joining in due to his grooming allegations and is now taking an extended break from content creation. The total number of participants in Squid Craft 2 will now only be 199 players.
