Reebok and Street Fighter are taking to the streets with a new shoe collection as big as theStreet Fighter 6 roster. Announced yesterday andset for a planned release date of Dec. 15 at 12 a.m. EST, the collection of shoes and a few clothing itemsis colorful and seems to wonderfully channel the spirit of the classic fighting game franchise. This is a continuing trend by Reebok of using popular culture for shoe inspiration. Other releases this year include the likes of Jurassic Park and Looney Toons.

Credit where credit is due: This collection by Reebok covers a wide swath of Street Fighter and its roster. This includes clear inspiration taken from each character and placed into the designs, such asthe Chun-Li Classic Leather shoefeaturing her trademark wrist spikes.
The other fighters featured in the Reebok x Street Fighter collection includesGill,Ryu,Akuma,Zangief,Cammy,M. Bison, andDhalsim. The collection also includes shoes inspired bythe game’s training mode,Street Fighter 2: Championship Edition, and someclassic slides.
The shoes don’t come cheap and will go fast, so if you’re looking to put a quarter or two into the shoe machine verify you’re ready on Dec. 15 at midnight.
