Rocket League is celebrating its eighth anniversary with the exciting Birthday Ball event. It features items, challenges, and limited-time modes!

The world of Rocket League has grown so much since it was first released in 2015. Since then, players have entered the field of Rocket League with items, arenas, and mechanics, and more. In celebration of the game’s anniversary, Psyonix has announced the Birthday Ball event for Rocket League players. There are new challenges, rewards, items, and two limited-time modes (LTMs) to check out.

Rocket League Birthday Ball event challenges and rewards

Players have to complete the challenges during the Birthday Ball event to get the rewards. They also can earn up to five Golden Eggs, which can unlock items from Champions Series 1 to 4.

More birthday items on Item Shop

The Rocket League community can also celebrate the anniversary with more items from the in-game shop. The items will be available periodically from June 28 to July 11.

Super Cube

Date:June 28 - July 5

Description:This mode is a 3v3 Rocket League mode where the ball has been replaced by a cubic shape, and its maximum speed and bounciness have increased.

Beach Ball

Date:July 5 - July 12

Description:This mode is a 2v2 Rocket League with lighter balls. Every time you hit the ball, the ball will curve through the air and make it more difficult to score or direct the ball.
