Just give a little whistle
Fishing in games is one of those activities I do when I’mreallyinto something. You know you’ve “made it” as an RPG when settling down and relaxing is a big draw, andZelda: Breath of the Wildmight be the perfect game for said relaxation:most of our users agree, having gone back to it month after month these past few years.
But this clip shared by charlieboy95 is really blowing my mind right now. While a lot of theBreath of the Wildvideos from the past year have focused around comical effects or glitches that don’t really do a whole lot in terms of repeat playthroughs, this one takes the cake as one of the most useful to date.

In short, whistling (which is usually reserved for calling your horse) while fishing will “rout” the fish to the shore, allowing you to easily gather them up (think using dynamite to blow fish out of the water, but more “humane”). you may even use a boat or magical platform to make the process that much easier!
It’s not even so esoteric that you need a detailed breakdown on how the process works or explainer videos, which is probably the best part. They even go through multiple locations to show that it’s not a one-off thing! Given that it doesn’t have traditional fishing, this might be “top fiveBreath of the Wildvideo” territory.

TIL you can catch fish much faster by whistling in BoTWfromr/Breath_of_the_Wild
