Spacestation Gaming are your 2024 Halo World Champions

It wasa pretty standard weekendfor the best Halo Infinite teams. They made it through Pool Play and into the Championship Bracket. Through that bracket, Spacestation Gaming fought their way through the Uppers for an advantage.

OpTic Gaming had to finish things up in the Lower side of the bracket. In the Lower Final, they met FaZe Clan and eliminated them. That set the stage for SSG vs. OpTic in the Grand Final, where OpTic would have to reset the bracket to get their hands on the trophy.

It looked like that is exactly what would happen. OpTic went up 3-0 in the first best-of-seven in the Grand Final. One more map and the rest was cemented. Well, Spacestation Gaming had other plans, taking four maps in a row to reverse sweep OpTic.

That gives them their first Halo World Championship as an org, alongside players Lqgend and Bound. Stellur and Eco both win their second world championship of the Halo Championship Series. If OpTic won, it would have been their third.
