This isn’t the first phone ring holder reward

The My Nintendo rewards section kind of went offline for a bit, but it came back: Nintendo isn’t giving it the Club Nintendo chopping block treatment yet! In the meantime while you sift through the existing rewards, you can mull over getting this upcoming one: the Zelda phone ring holder.

News of the reward came by way of the Zelda Game & Watch device landing page, which hid the announcement below a bunch of other stuff. Here’s the rub:

Zelda phone ring holder

“Get a grip on your phone with the stylish ring, inspired by the classic Hylian Shield. Use it to hold your phone, or rotate the ring so you can use it as a kickstand. This will be coming early December.”

Typically rewards launch alongside of big game releases, but this time Nintendo is opting to push the momentum of the device itself into the holidays, and coast off of the evergreen popularity ofZeldaas a whole. Plus,Nintendo has done the whole phone ring holder thing in the past.

As a reminder, you can find our full Platinum Point guide here:bookmark it for when you need quick points for a reward, like theMetroid Dreadposter two-pack. A handful of points is incredibly easy to get, as that’s basically just 15 minutes withSuper Mario Run, or a quick sign-on to the 3DS or Wii U 3Shop. Also remember that any shipments are bundled together, so you can pay a flat rate for multiple items instead of paying it each time. Just know that items go out of stock on My Nintendo frequently, and some are never restocked.
