The roster of playable characters in Wuthering Waves is getting bigger. The Shorekeeper joins the game with Version 1.3. She was revealed in a drip marketing post, and we know some extra information about this Resonator.

The Shorekeeper WuWa Drip Marketing
Like other characters in Wuthering Waves, the Shorekeeper was revealed via her drip marketing. We’ve got an image of the newest Resonator, her quote, and a brief description.
“‘The Shorekeeper’… This name suits me well enough. It aligns with my purpose and drive: they only exist because of you.”
The Shorekeeper WuWa Drip Marketing explains that this girl is a divine being that spent lots of time in the mystic state of guardianship. But Wuthering Waves players summon the Shorekeeper, so she feels how strong emotions woke her up, and she wants to connect with the world.

When does the Shorekeeper join Wuthering Waves?
The drip marketing doesn’t reveal practical info on the Shorekeeper, but we know the patterns of banners being active in Wuthering Waves. Version 1.1 was released on August 07, 2025, and Version 1.2 is out on June 03, 2025.
We can expect the following dates for Wuthering Waves 1.3 banners.
The Shorekeeper banner is most likely available in phase 1, but we still need an official confirmation for this.

Thanks to The Shorekeeper drip marketing, we know that this girl is part of the Black Shores faction in Wuthering Waves. There is unconfirmed information that the girl is actually the leader of Black Shores.
Two other WuWa characters also belong to this faction. They are described as consultants.
The ultimate goal of Black Shores is saving the world. They have a headquarters on a remote island and try to hide everything about the organization in secret.
Youhu — a new 4-star character in Wuthering Waves
In addition to the Shorekeeper, we’ve got a WuWa drip marketing for a new 4-star character, Youhu.
She is a high-level expert in antiques and unique treasures.
More details about Shorekeeper and Youhu were revealed during theWuWa 1.3 Black Shores stream.
