Ubisoft Forward is on July 12
It has begun.
Now that E3 is nixed for 2020 and packed live press conferencesare on hold for a while, pretty much everyone is clamoring to create Nintendo Direct-style video presentations. We’ve said this before, but Nintendo really was ahead of the time when it comes to these.
Several publishers areopting to pull out offormal “June E3 Conferences,” instead sharing the spotlight with others in showcaseslike Summer Game Fest. Now, we know that Ubisoft will be holding an event of its own called “Ubisoft Forward” on July 12. Little is known about the event, but Ubisoft says it will be an “E3-styleshowcase with exclusive game news, exciting reveals and plenty more.”
It’s easy to speculate about what they’re going to show. We need aWatch Dogs: Legionupdate for sure, as well as more news onGods & MonstersandAssassin’s Creed Valhalla. There’s also a few other projects floating around likeRoller Champions, which had a pre-alpha demo last year.
Mark your calendars…again! It’s going to be a long summer of these things.
