What is the MW2 release date?
Those who pre-ordered the newest Call of Duty title can access the entire campaign now. Infinity Ward granted players early access to the story mode on October 20. However, those eager to get their hands on MW2 multiplayer and Special Ops can access both game modes on Friday, October 28.
The October 28 release date of MW2 multiplayer, Special Ops, and complete game applies to all platforms; PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. It’s worth mentioning that Call of Duty launches are notorious for server issues and delays, so be prepared before you queue into a multiplayer match. Also, you may pre-load the full MW2 game now before the official launch.
