Blizzard has landed on an July 17, 2025 release forWorld of Warcraft‘s seventh expansion,Battle for Azeroth. you may go ahead and mark your calendar (and X out the rest of the month while you’re at it).
The company has also detailed thepre-purchasing optionsfor this expansion.
The Standard Edition ofBattle for Azeroth($50) offers a level 110 boost and early access to unlock four Allied Races (the Highmountain tauren, Lightforged draenei, Nightborne, and Void elves). The Digital Deluxe Edition ($70) packs in additional in-game goodies, including a baby Tortollan pet and Gilded Ravasaur and Seabraid Stallion mounts. Finally, the physical Collector’s Edition ($100) has a double-sided Horde/Alliance emblem,Elegy & A Good Warhardcover book, and digital soundtrack.
Blizzard is also throwing in the most recent expansion,Legion, for pre-purchasers. I may not be intoWoW, but I appreciate the heck out of thatOrcs & Humans-style artwork up top.
