Burning flames and the enormous power of the ocean are ready to shake the beautiful world of Wuthering Waves.
Two pretty different elements join the exciting adventures of Wuthering Waves (WuWa) soon. New Resonators of WuWa 2.4 embodied them and they are the core reveals of the traditional Special Preview Broadcast.
The developers have even more surprises up their sleeves. Everything about Wuthering Waves Version 2.4 is here: the livestream itself, codes to redeem free in-game materials, what to expect from WuWa 2.4, and a summary of the most important announcements.

Like with all such streams by Kuro Games, we received three WuWa redeem codes from the Version 2.4 broadcast.
Lightly We Toss the Crown: The main story quest of Wuthering Waves 2.4
Cartethyia suddenly disappeared after the events of WuWa 2.3. Rover decided to track her frequency, and the hero found it in a new region, Septimont. Heading there and rescuing Cartethyia is the main story quest of Version 2.4. It’s called Lightly We Toss the Crown.
Septimont: A new region in WuWa 2.4
Travel to Septimont and discover a new culture within Rinascita. It’s another city-state, similar to Ragunna. However, traditions here are totally different.
People enjoy gladiator battles in Septimont. The city has a regular event, the Great Agon, where the best gladiators clash on a huge arena. It seems like Cartethyia wants to win it to face a legendary griphon-like Echo, the Lioness of Glory. But why is she missing?
Lupa also appears in the story. She is a gladiator herself. Her knowledge of this tradition and the Septimont region can help Rover in their adventure.
The main quest of Wuthering Waves 2.4 consists of two acts.
New Resonators in Wuthering Waves 2.4: Cartethyia and Lupa
When the game’s official social account revealed the first bits of information about new Resonators in WuWa 2.4, players’ responses were extremely positive. Both Cartethyia and Lupa are wonderful — visually and gameplay-wise.

WuWa Cartethyia
This girl can control the ocean and the storm. These two powers of nature are in balance within Cartethyia, which makes her an excellent addition to your WuWa team.
As a Resonator, Cartethyia battles with a Sword. Her Element (Attribute) is Aero. Apparently, Cartethyia will have her banner right at the beginning of Version 2.4. Cartethyia’s release date is June 12, a bit after theWuWa 2.3 events and bannersare over.

Cartethyia’s kit
In a WuWa team, Cartethyia is the main damage dealer. She can use two forms and attack with her three swords. Cartethyia applies Aero Erosion effect to increase damage.
With the Resonance Liberation, the girl takes her Fleurdelys form. Cartethyia’s attacks become stronger as she can absorb the might of Shadow Sword and increase the Aero Erosion effect.
With specific conditions, Cartethyia remains in the Fleurdelys form for a long time, enjoying some special effects like walking on water.
WuWa Cartethyia receives a special 5-star sword, Defier’s Thorn. You can try and obtain it from the Weapon Convene.

WuWa Lupa
Fire is burning inside Lupa! She is eager to jump into battle and burn down all her opponents: they are obstacles on Lupa’s path to success.
Lupa joins Wuthering Waves 2.4 as a 5-star Resonator on the Phase 2 character banners. Her Element is Fusion, and her weapon is Broadblade.
According to the early official information and some Wuthering Waves leaks, Lupa is an effective damage dealer. This role makes her somewhat similar toZani.
The Version 2.4 broadcast revealed more details about both new Resonator as well.
Lupa’s kit
This girl is a mighty gladiator, and your Rover can team up with Lupa to participate in battles of the Great Agon. She developed a spectacular fighting style thanks to this experience! It makes Lupa a great addition to your WuWa team.
With her fiery spear, Lupa moves swiftly across the battlefield and attacks opponents even in mid-air. The Resonance Skill of Lupa lets the character jump into the air and deliver an especially powerful strike. With it, Lupa gains special Forte Gauge Wolflame. When the Gauge is full, Heavy Attacks turn into their enhanced versions.
The Resonance Liberation allows Lupa accumulate Wolflame quicker. Also, it can cast addition protection for other Resonators in the team.
Lupa’s special sword is Wildfire Mark. The weapon complements the general style of the gladiator girl quite nicely!
Even if this Resonator is part of Phase 2 in Wuthering Waves 2.4, you can startfarming Lupa’s Ascension materialsright now to be properly prepared for the release.
WuWa 2.4 events: New story, quests, and rewards
When the game received the2.0 update, the events moved to a different region, Rinascita. The atmosphere here is a mix of colorful celebrations and evil intrigues. It feels like Septimont shares similar vibes!
WuWa 2.3added new chapters to the story quests. Alongside this, the previous version features the first anniversary event. Having a Cyberpunk collaboration on the horizon, the game has set high standards for each new version.
With the adventures moving forward, new Echo creatures join WuWa 2.4:
Among the unique enemies, you can meetLioness of Glory. This gryphon is extremely rare and appears only during the Great Agon. Another unusual enemies in Septimont is???: Embers of Glory, who is a strong warrior.
